DHB Online Academy.

An accessible tutorial platform for all levels of handball enthusiasts!   

The DHB Online Academy aims to promote handball in Germany by providing volunteers, coaches, and PE teachers with inspiring resources. The courses and tutorials focus on handball exercises and drills. The platform also includes social media tips to help clubs advertise their events and activities as well as helpful insights regarding club management. Ultimately, the platform helps increase awareness of the sport and make handball accessible to everyone.   

DHB had specific requirements for the project and approached the made.by Tickaroo team after having worked closely with them on the handball.net project. During the consultation, it was clear that while the team could build the complex platform from scratch, a more efficient solution was possible. After researching various learning platforms, including Udemy and ELOpage, Learn World’s UX stood out as particularly practical and was therefore selected for the project.   

The short setup phase included platform consultancy explaining the pros and cons of the project and a made.by Tickaroo styling consultation. These steps ensured that the Learn World templates complied with DHB CI. Content and courses were quickly and easily uploaded to the platform. Although anyone can join the learning academy, DHB requested a login be included, which was also built by the made.by team. By requiring users to sign up, DHB can fully utilize the Learn World admin section and view metrics on how many courses have been completed, where drop-offs are, and other helpful statistics. Thanks to efficient planning and development, the DHB Online Academy was up and running in record time.
