The Regensburg Legionnaires 

The excellent new website for the most renown baseball club in Germany is live! 

Shortly after the announcement of the club’s new head sponsor, the Guggenberger Legionäre (Legionnaires) in Regensburg, also released their brand-new club website. The goal of the website is to give the Legionnaire-Family a new digital home that can quickly and easily be filled with current and exciting content. 

By sharing the latest news prominently on the site, current fans and future stadium visitors can stay up-to-date on the club's latest information.  As soon as a user enters the site, they are asked whether they want to watch or play baseball? This first interaction allows active and passive home run enthusiasts to quickly find their way into the virtual “clubhouse” and to find exactly what they are looking for. The site contains everything that any American sports fan could desire: current team rosters, the free Legionnaire TV live stream, information about the ball park, fan shop access, training times, and even a Club Hall of Fame. In the “Live” area of the site, a Tickaroo Live Blog is used to share the latest club updates. 

Since the Legionnaires provided extensive data, content, and wonderful imagery to the concept, design, and front-end team at Tickaroo, it was not difficult to create and implement an appealing site. The website was developed with Wordpress, because this CMS was already well-known among the club members filling the site.
