CSR (aka Corporate Social Responsibility) can stand for many different types of social initiatives but for the German football club “1. FC Nürnberg” it means offering fans the new interactive platform “unserclub.de”. This platform encourages fans to become more involved in their community.
For both the design and development of the mobile-friendly website, 1. FCN entrusted the digital experts at Tickaroo with this big project. Led by long-time fan and “clubberer” Matthew Ulbrich (CEO and Chief Experience Officer) the designers and programmers adeptly created a site that not only looks good but is also extremely user friendly. The home page centres around a Tickaroo-powered liveblog that provides news and updates about activities and special events.
The focus of the website is the page devoted to different activities for which fans can volunteer. In case any extra incentive for helping their community is needed, there is also a page where the activity points can be redeemed for special, often one-of-a-kind, prizes.
In addition to creating an easy-to-use and customizable webpage, made.by Tickaroo is also responsible for implementing the backend of the site as well. Fans can sign up, create a profile, and their points are recorded for the volunteer activities that they have completed. With a solid backend as well as a sleek user interface, the 1. FCN CSR platform “unserclub.de” is helping to connect fans and their community on a whole new level.
